14R-7-707 Energy conservation. The provisions of Section 707 of IEBC are adopted by reference with the following modification: 1. Revise Section 707.1 to read: "707.1 Minimum requirements. Level 1 alterations to existing buildings or structures do not require the entire building or structure to comply with the energy requirements of the Chicago Energy Conservation Code. The alterations shall conform to the energy requirements of the Chicago Energy Conservation Code."
