35.980. Application for payment; wilful falsification, penalty. Sec. 10. Any person who shall wilfully make a false statement in the application for benefits under the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a felony, and upon conviction thereof may be punished by confinement in the state prison of southern Michigan at Jackson for a period of not less than 1 year or more than 3 years. 1955, Act 8, Imd.
