§ 16-512 Investigations by the department of investigation. In addition to any other investigation authorized pursuant to law, the commissioner of the department of investigation shall, at the request of the commission, conduct a study or investigation of any matter arising under the provisions of this chapter, including but not limited to investigation of the information required to be submitted by applicants for licenses and employees and the ongoing conduct of licensees.
