17:1760. Intention to replace beneficiary scholarships The parish school loan fund of each parish shall, under a system of loans rather than donations, replace, upon the expiration of beneficiary scholarships now authorized and in force, all outright donations by police juries to beneficiary students for the purpose of enabling them to attend state endowed universities, colleges and institutions of this state.
