14F-9-901 General. The provisions of IFC Section 901 are not adopted. The following is adopted as Section 901: “SECTION 901 GENERAL 901.1 Compliance. Fire protection and life safety systems shall be provided and improved as part of construction or rehabilitation work in accordance with Chapter 9 of the Chicago Building Code and the Chicago Building Rehabilitation Code, as applicable. Fire protection and life safety systems shall be provided retroactively and maintained in accordance with the Chicago Minimum Requirements for Existing Buildings.”
