SEC. 57.313.3.1. SPARK ARRESTERS. No person shall use or operate an internal combustion engine on or near grain, hay, grass, or brush-covered land, or where flammable fibers are stored, manufactured, or processed, unless the engine is equipped with an approved spark arrester that complies with the requirements of United States Forest Service “Standard for Spark Arresters for Internal Combustion Engines” (Standard 5100-1B, July 1991).
