14A-4-411.3.1.1 Manufacturer’s instructions. Where the Chicago Construction Codes require that any material or equipment be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions or requirements, those instructions or requirements must be specifically referenced in the construction documents. If the manufacturer’s instructions are not included in the construction documents, a copy must otherwise be available at the work site.
