18-28-301.16 Flood hazard. If a structure is located in a flood-hazard zone or a high-hazard zone, its mechanical systems shall be either (1) placed above the base flood elevation; or (2) protected to prevent flood water from entering or accumulating within any equipment, appliances, ducts or plenum space.
