Sec. 11.56. Non-Compliance with Article. Any person who violates any of the provisions or fails to comply with any of the mandatory requirements of this article is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not to exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period of not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
