Section 1057-ff. Party affiliations. a. Individuals who enroll in a political party using a municipal voter registration form shall be considered qualified members of that party only for the purposes of municipal elections. b. References to political party member qualifications in the election law shall be construed to include municipal voter qualifications with respect to voting in municipal elections as set forth in this chapter.
