2-25-030 Commissioner of business affairs and consumer protection - Appointment and authority. There is hereby created the office of commissioner of business affairs and consumer protection. The commissioner shall head the department of business affairs and consumer protection, and shall supervise, manage and control the department and its employees and all matters and things pertaining to the department. The commissioner shall be appointed by the mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the city council. (Added Coun. J. 11-19-08, p. 47220, Art. V, § 1)
