14X-5-505.8.2 Direction of swing. Pivot or side-hinged swinging doors must swing in the direction of egress travel where serving an occupant load of 50 or more persons. Exception: In Group B occupancies, existing egress doors and replacement egress doors of the same size and configuration installed in the same location may swing opposite the direction of egress travel when opening onto a corridor and serving an occupant load of 100 or fewer persons.
