SEC. 57.5403.9. TANK CARS. Tank cars shall be unloaded as soon as possible after their arrival at point of delivery and shall not be used as storage tanks. Tank cars containing corrosive materials shall not be allowed to remain at point of delivery for more than 24 hours while being unloaded. A qualified person shall supervise the transfer operations.
