SEC. 57.2004.8.4. GROUNDING AND BONDING. To guard against static spark hazard, exhaust equipment and the aircraft to be ventilated shall be electrically bonded and adequately grounded. If ducting is used, a static bonding wire shall be connected from each exhaust hose nozzle to the aircraft wing before opening the fuel tank.
