Sec. 22.272. Authorization to Make Services Available.

The Board of Police Commissioners may authorize the Police Department to furnish the following services to private individuals upon written application therefor: (a) Search of Department records to ascertain whether the applicant has a record of arrest or conviction; (b) Fingerprinting the applicant and transmitting copies of the same to such persons or governmental agencies approved by the Board as the applicant may request.
