Sec. 232. Executive Budget.

There shall be an executive budget division within the office of the Mayor with the power and duty to: (a) assist the Mayor in the preparation and submission to the Council of a proposed budget and executive summary in accordance with Article III; and (b) review and monitor departmental budgets and expenditures to ensure that departmental expenditures do not exceed budgeted appropriations for that department. The Mayor may request the assistance in these duties from other City departments and offices.
