15-20-180 Seizure of explosives kept unlawfully.

If it shall be found that any of the explosives mentioned in Section 15-20-010 are being kept in any building, structure or premises, or in any vehicle or on board of any vessel within the city in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, any such explosives so kept shall be immediately seized and removed to such place as the fire commissioner may direct. It is hereby made the duty of the members of the police department to assist in making such seizure when requested so to do by the fire commissioner, and to assist in the removal of such explosives to such place as may be designated by the fire commissioner.
