18-29-419.2 Substitution for water closets.
In each toilet facility, urinals shall not be substituted for more than 67 percent of the required water closets in separate facilities in assembly and educational occupancies. Urinals shall not be substituted for more than 50 percent of the required water closets in separate facilities in all other occupancies. Urinals shall not be substituted for more than 20 percent of the required water closets in nonseparate facilities. Exception: Male urinals shall be provided in sports or entertainment arenas, stadiums, community or convention halls, special events centers and amusement facilities in quantities required by the Illinois Equitable Restroom Act.
