2-100-020 Commissioner - Appointment and authority.

There is hereby created the office of commissioner of streets and sanitation. He shall be appointed by the mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the city council. He shall be head of the department and shall not engage in any other business while acting in that capacity. (Prior code § 14-2)
