14X-5-502.9.4 Testing.

Each fire shield sash in a high-rise building must be tested annually to verify automatic operation as required in Section 14X-5-502.9.3. Testing must be performed by an individual or organization acceptable to the fire code official. Reports of the testing must be filed with the fire code official by June 30 of each year. (Amend Coun.
