14R-7-701 General.

The provisions of Section 701 of IEBC are adopted by reference with the following modifications: 1. Revise the exception to Section 701.2 to read: "Exception: Where the current level of safety, fire protection or sanitation is proposed to be reduced, the portion altered shall conform to the requirements of the Chicago Building Code." 2. Delete Section 701.3. 3. Delete Section 701.4.
