Section 406. Automatic Clothes Washers

406.1 to 406.2 {As in IPC} 406.3 Drip pan. If a clothes washer is to be installed in a location where leakage can cause structural damage to the building, the washer must be installed over a drip pan in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. The pan drain must extend full size and terminate over a suitably located indirect waste receptor or floor drain.
