Section 690.1 – Add the following sentence to the end of Section 690.1 and add 2 additional Informational Notes Nos. 3 and 4 to read as follows: A detailed diagram of the photovoltaic system must be made available upon request of the department. Informational Note No. 3: Photovoltaic systems adhered or attached to the roof covering shall be labeled to identify the fire classification in accordance with Chapter 15 of the New York City Building Code. Informational Note No. 4: Rooftop installations of photovoltaic systems shall comply with the rooftop area access requirements of the New York City Fire Code.
