'42.1403 Enforcement Authority (a) The Director of the Department of Environmental Health of San Diego County is authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of this Division. The Director or anyone designated by the Director to be an Enforcement Official may exercise any enforcement powers as provided in Chapter 1, Article 2, Division 1, of this Code. (b) The Department of Environmental Health is authorized and empowered by the City Manager to make inspections and issue permits to the owners and/or operators of wholesale food warehouses that hold or distribute food at wholesale. (“Enforcement Authority” added 7-14-2003 by O-19196 N.S.)
