Las Vegas Municipal Code § 6.80.110
in effect6.80.110 - Entrance restrictions.
No entrance through which patrons may be admitted to a teenage entertainment location shall be permitted within a distance of five hundred feet from the closest customer entrance to any establishment that is described in LVMC Chapter 19.74 or from the closest customer entrance to any tavern or other establishment in which any beer, wine or other alcoholic beverage is served, sold or given away, and no teenage entertainment location shall be permitted within a structure or building that has a roof in common with any of such establishments. At the request of the applicant for a license pursuant to this Chapter, the City Council, in its discretion, may waive the separation between the proposed teenage entertainment location and an establishment which dispenses alcoholic beverages that is required by this Section, based upon a consideration of the nature and the character of the businesses within the surrounding neighborhood. Notice of the time and place of the City Council's consideration of the request for such a waiver shall be published at least once in at least one newspaper of general circulation within the City not less than five days nor more than ten days prior to the date of such consideration.
