Las Vegas Municipal Code § 9.08.107
in effect9.08.107 - Wheeled carts—Maintenance.
(A) Wheeled carts supplied by a franchisee pursuant to Section 9.08.105 shall remain the property of the supplying franchisee.
(B) Subject to the provisions of Subsections (C) and (D) of this Section, the supplying franchisee shall be responsible for general maintenance of wheeled carts at no cost to the customer.
(C) General maintenance of a wheeled cart under Subsection (B) includes repairs and replacements necessitated by normal wear and tear, but does not extend to:
(1) Maintaining the cleanliness of the wheeled cart; or
(2) Repairing or replacing a wheeled cart where the repair or replacement is necessitated by negligence of the customer.
(D) Customers are responsible for using reasonable care with respect to wheeled carts and their use.
