Columbus City Codes § 1907.04 Appointment of emergency patrolmen.

1907.04 - Appointment of emergency patrolmen. In case of riot or other like emergency, the mayor may appoint additional patrolmen and officers for temporary service, who need not be in the classified list of such department. Such additional officers or patrolmen shall be employed only for the time during which the emergency exists. (Sec. 33.19.)

Columbus City Codes § 1907.05 Compensation and supervision of emergency patrolmen.

1907.05 - Compensation and supervision of emergency patrolmen. Emergency patrolmen, as prescribed in C.C. 1907.04 shall receive the same rate of pay as regular first year patrolmen and shall be under the supervision and direction of the Director of Public Safety, and the chief of police. (Sec. 33.20.)
