14C-10-041 Conveyors and related equipment - Additional requirements. Vertical reciprocating conveyors shall be installed in a full hoistway or runway enclosure. The enclosure and entrances to the hoistway or runway shall be protected with doors or gates meeting the fire resistance requirements of Section 15-8-050. All doors and gates opening onto the hoistway or runway shall be protected with hoistway door interlocks meeting the requirements of 14C-3-2.12.2 and 14C-3-2.12.4.
