Sec. 160. - What department embraces. The Department of Finances and Institutions shall embrace the collector of licenses and privileges, the City Treasurer, the delinquent tax collector, the front foot assessment collector, and all matters pertaining to these offices. Said department shall also have supervision and control of the expenditures of the City Assessor's office and the City board of equalization. (Priv. Acts 1937, ch. 122, § 7)
