The Las Vegas Municipal Code, adopted and enacted into law by Chapter 1.01, and as hereafter amended and supplemented and printed and published pursuant to law, and all of the ordinances embraced therein, shall be known and designated as the "Las Vegas Municipal Code" and may be cited as such or simply as "LVMC," followed by the number of the title, chapter and section, as appropriate; for example, LVMC 1.01.010. The illustrative section may also be cited as Section 10 of Chapter 1 of Title 1 of the Las Vegas Municipal Code or as Title 1, Chapter 1, Section 10 of the Las Vegas Municipal Code. Lettered paragraphs (the first series of indentations) within a section are referred to as subsections, and numbered paragraphs (the second series of indentations) within a subsection are referred to as paragraphs, any may be cited as follows: "Paragraph (1) of Subsection (A) of LVMC 1.01.010" or "LVMC 1.01.010 (A)(1)." The following is an example of the outline system used in LVMC sections:

(A) This is a subsection.
(B) Subsections are designated by capital letters in parentheses.
(1) This is a paragraph.
(2) Paragraphs are designated by Arabic numerals in parentheses.
(a) This is a subparagraph.
(b) Subparagraphs are designated by lower case letters in parentheses.
(i) This is a subparagraph.
(ii) Subparagraphs are designated by lower case Roman numerals in parentheses.
