§ 2-133 DUTIES. The fire chief shall have the exclusive right to discipline any of the officers or employees of the department in accordance with the Revised Civil Statutes, Article 1269m, as amended, city rules and regulations, and fire department rules and regulations and orders. The fire chief shall have the power to negotiate agreements with other governmental subdivisions for mutual aid in fire protection subject to the approval of the city manager.
