SEC. 65.01. REPAIR OF PRIVATE STREETS - DECLARATION OF PURPOSE. It is the purpose of the provisions of this article to provide equitable and practicable methods, to be cumulative with and in addition to any other remedy available at law, whereby private streets located within the City of Los Angeles, which are a menace to the life, limb, health, property safety and general welfare of the people of the city, may be required to be repaired.
