14A-4-401.4.1 Construction documents. When the building official issues a permit, the construction documents must be marked as "Reviewed for Code Compliance." The building official must retain a copy of the reviewed construction documents and return a copy to the applicant. The applicant must keep the applicant’s copy at the site of work, while work is in progress, and make it available for inspection by the building official and other City officials charged with administration of the Chicago Construction Codes.
