The three thousand five hundred dollars ($3,500.00) for the Guardian Home's Petty Cash Fund established under section 135-851 shall be paid by a warrant drawn on the Marion County Children's Guardian Home Donation Fund in favor of the director of the guardian home without the need for an appropriation. The director shall account for the fund in the manner as described in IC 36-1-8-3(c), and shall return the entire fund to the appropriate fund whenever there is a change in the custodian or when the fund is no longer needed.
