Las Vegas Municipal Code § 6.60.230
in effect6.60.230 - Release without charge.
A pawnbroker shall release, with- out charge, pawned property to a person if:
(A) He has filed a stolen property report with a law enforcement agency;
(B) He has furnished proof of ownership to the police department; and
(C) The police department has issued a release order to the pawnbroker to release the described property to such person.
