11.42.010 - Sign posting. Whenever any regulation of this City designates any one-way street or alley the City Traffic Engineer shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulation shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited. 11.42.020 - Designation in schedules on file. Upon these streets and parts of streets and in those alleys described in Schedules 26-I and 26-II, respectively, copies of which shall be maintained for public inspection in the offices of the City Clerk and the City Traffic Engineer and may be amended from time to time by resolution of the City Council, vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is prohibited. Las Vegas Municipal Code § 11.42.030 Reversible lanes—Temporary designation.

11.42.030 - Reversible lanes—Temporary designation. The City Traffic Engineer is authorized to determine and designate streets, or specific lanes thereon upon which vehicular traffic shall proceed in one direction during one period and the opposite direction during another period of the day, and may also erect signs temporarily designating lanes to be used by traffic moving in any particular direction, regardless of the centerline of the roadway. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle in violation of such markings, signs, barriers, or other devices so placed in accordance with this Section.
