Sec. 6.509. Deposit in Fund. (a) The amount of assessment and any interest or penalties thereon, less any sums charged by the County of Los Angeles to administer and collect the assessments, shall be credited to a fund in the treasury of the City of Los Angeles to be known as the “Essential Public Utilities Assessment Fund.” (b) The Fund shall be divided into separate accounts for each department for which assessments are made.
