CLERK'S CASH CHANGE FUND

Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-841 Created.

Sec. 135-841. - Created. Pursuant to IC 36-1-8-2, the council hereby establishes a cash change fund in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) to be placed in the custody of the Marion County Clerk or his or her designee. The cash change fund shall be used by the Marion County Clerk's Office to make change when collecting cash revenues. (G.O. 56, 2002, § 1)

Indianapolis-Marion County Revised Code § 135-842 Administration.

Sec. 135-842. - Administration. The four thousand dollars ($4,000.00) for the clerk's cash change fund established under section 135-841 shall be paid by a warrant drawn on the appropriate fund in favor of the clerk without the need for an appropriation. The clerk shall account for the fund in the same manner as other funds, and shall return the entire fund to the appropriate fund whenever there is a change in the custodian or when the fund is no longer needed.
