3-45-050 Collection of tax. Consent and authority are given to the Illinois Department of Revenue to collect, administer and enforce the tax imposed by Section 3-45-040 of this chapter and all civil penalties that may be assessed as an incident thereof for and on behalf of the city pursuant to Section 8-11-6(b) of the Illinois Municipal code, as amended.
