in effectSec. 2-4. - Fee charges for the office of the city clerk.
The following fee charges are established for the office of the city clerk:
(1) Sale of publications: Actual cost of publication. Actual costs include materials, delivery, postage, packaging, maintenance, preparation, storage, and related expenses.
(2) Document certification fee: Five dollars ($5.00).
(3) Document search: As permitted by the cost rules contained in the Texas Administrative Code, Section 70.3.
(4) Tape duplication fee: As permitted by the cost rules contained in the Texas Administrative Code, Section 70.3.
(5) City Code supplement service: One hundred dollars ($100.00).
(6) Boards and commissions book: Five dollars ($5.00).
(7) Candidate packet fee: Thirty dollars ($30.00).
(8) Postal and shipping charges. The city may add actual postal (thirteen dollars ($13.00) in FY 2020) or shipping expenses which are necessary to transmit produced information to a requesting party.
(9) Passport Photo Fee: Seventeen dollars ($17.00).
(10) Burial transit permit fee for the transportation of deceased: Twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
(11) Notary fee for the public and city employees: Ten dollars ($10.00).
(12) Fee for subpoena requesting verification of birth: Twenty-two dollars ($22.00).
(13) Fee for subpoena requesting verification of death: Twenty dollars ($20.00).
(14) Fee for time spent searching the system for a record when a record is not found: Ten dollars ($10.00) per record search.
