Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 30-16 Definitions.

§ 30-16. - Definitions. The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) an "assault" is any willful and unlawful attempt or offer with force or violence to do a corporal hurt to another. § 30-17. - Assault and battery generally. (a) Any person who shall commit an assault shall be guilty of a Class "b" offense. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 30-18 Assault and battery on City officials.

§ 30-18. - Assault and battery on City officials. (a) No person shall commit any assault, battery, or assault and battery upon a police officer or other City official while in the performance of his duties.
