18-28-928.2.1 Enclosed type. Clearance shall comply with the following: 1. Unlisted enclosed illuminating appliances installed outdoors shall be installed with clearances in any direction from combustible material of not less than 12 inches ( 300 mm). 2. Unlisted enclosed illuminating appliances installed indoors shall be installed with clearances in any direction from combustible material of not less than 18 inches (460 mm).
