SEC. 51A-9.603. GENERAL PROVISIONS. (a) Only public streets may be granted first responder street toppers by the process contained in this division. (b) A first responder street topper application may be initiated when a peace officer or a firefighter: (1) died in the line of duty; and (2) was employed at the time by the City of Dallas. (c) First responder street toppers must be of the peace officer's or firefighter's name, rank, and identification number, and a statement, "End of Watch" the date of that occurrence. (Ord. 32821)
