San Diego Municipal Code § 22.4701 Department of Performance and Analytics

§22.4701 Department of Performance and Analytics The Department of Performance and Analytics is a City department. The Director is the administrative head of the department and shall be selected by the City Manager. The Director shall be the appointing authority of all personnel authorized in the department. The department is responsible for long-term strategic initiatives, including strategic planning, performance measurement and management, operational excellence initiatives and managed competition. The department supports all Mayoral departments to implement data-driven solutions and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the City’s service delivery and management structures.
