Sec. 39-18. - Duties. The division and the employees assigned to the division shall: (1) Supervise and be responsible for the collection, transportation and disposal of solid waste. (2) Carry out the policies of the director in the overall planning effort to develop a reliable and efficient method for solid waste disposal.
