(A) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any object or material placed upon the windshield, side or rear windows or with any object placed in or upon the vehicle so as to obstruct or reduce the driver's clear vision through the windshield or side windows, or to obstruct or restrict the view of any person into or through such motor vehicle. No person shall color or tint windows or windshields beyond the manufacturer's specifications.
(B) This Section shall not apply to:
(1) Rear view mirrors or adjustable nontransparent sun visors which are mounted forward of the side windows and are not attached to the glass;
(2) Side windows which are to the rear of the driver.
