Sec. 279-301. - Firearms ranges to be open to public use.
Any firearms range maintained by IMPD for training of law enforcement personnel shall be made available for public use two weekends per month, except when: (a) the range is closed in whole or in part for renovation or repair or maintenance; (b) the range is closed in whole or in part due to weather conditions; or (c) the range is being used in whole or in part exclusively for law enforcement training. Public use of the range shall be supervised at all times by IMPD safety officers. IMPD shall publicly post the times and manner that the public is permitted to use such range.
