7.24.090 - Bitten animals. Whenever any animal is bitten by another animal suspected of having rabies, the owner of the bitten animal and the owner of the biting animal shall immediately notify the Health Officer and the Animal Protection Services Officer who, in their discretion, may quarantine such animals for a period to be determined and in such manner as prescribed by the Health Officer.
