Sec. 14-5-1. - Electrical code adopted by reference.
The 2014 Edition of the National Electric Code (NEC) is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety herein, a copy of said code being on file in the Office of Council Records of the Memphis City Council.
The local amendments, including certain amendments to the provision of the NEC and locally drafted Appendix A - Electrical Permit and Inspection Fees, as set forth in Exhibit A [on file with the city] are also adopted and together these provisions and the 2014 NEC shall become the 2018 Memphis and Shelby County Electrical Code.
