Sec. 293-401. - Voluntary remedial actions. Violations of any provision of this chapter should raise conscientious questions for the official, appointee, or employee concerned as to whether resignation, compensatory action, or a sincere, public apology is appropriate to promote the best interests of the city or county and to prevent the costs of an investigation and hearings by the ethics commission.
